Another shade of beauty!

I was travelling to ujjain, Madhya pradesh in the month of march last year. Ujjain is said to be a famous hindu pilgrimage destination. Also known as the city of temples, in India attracting many tourists around the world.

Hold on, it wasn't a trip, i was just accompanying my aunt for her official conference for two days. Our train was supposed to arrive at 7:30 in the morning. So we reached the railway station by 6:45 am in the morning. We directly landed on the bench and around six meters from my right, there was a tea stall, well it was just a table, a stove and a man, but then a huge, massive amount of people he was magnetising, made me wonder, how much he could earn for a day.

Just then I saw aunt's driver holding two cups, walking towards us and handed us the very much awaited drink. It's always great to reach station early and observe people of all kinds, although I stare at them, while sipping and slurping over the hot ginger tea with some pinch of black pepper in it and aroma of cardamoms hitting your nostrils, trust me it's the best feeling.
Coming back to the world, our train arrived at the scheduled time. We boarded the train. Somehow we reached till our coach.
There was a lady sitting opposite our train berth in her late 70s. From the corner of my eyes i could see she was wearing a plain simple light coloured attire which was salwar kameez and her dupatta draping her head completely, falling till her forehead.
It was just a two days trip so right after pushing our suitcases under our seats, my aunt asked me to surf through the internet to find the best place and temples to visit there even if it's for an hour. I was busy reading out the places which google chose to show me when the lady interrupted and asked us if we are travelling to Ujjain. We nodded our heads in union, she just smiled and told us that she had been there for 7 years. She offered us the snack she was munching which was nothing but handmade 'mathri' made by her, offcourse. Like always we denied at the first time with an awkward smile. She told us that she is visiting jaipur to meet her daughter. Later on explained to us the temples we should really not miss. She even told us the significance and associated stories behind a few temples which was something we never heard of. There is a specific prayer which happens around 4 am in the morning which is at a whole different level & attracts most of the tourists and shared contact of her neighbour incase if we need anything and enlightened us with all the details. Our conversation grew deeper and I remember her telling us how being a single mother she managed to nurture her three kids and get them married.
Train was about to reach her desired station within 10 minutes. She forwarded me her old keypad mobile phone and a small piece of crumpled paper on which her daughter's phone number was roughly scribbled and asked me to dial her number.

when my aunt said, "apne naam nahi bataya?"
And she said, "Saira banno" with a smile reaching till her eyes and again forwarded her tiffin of snacks. This time we took handful of it.  She wished us a great journey ahead and said," May Allah always bless you with health and wealth" and stood up to leave. We saw her retreating figure.

Well that was an another shade of beauty. She left us wondering how diverse and beautiful this country can be and where are we exactly lacking then?
